Central Hudson Region PTA Presidents & Principals Dinner

The Presidents & Principals Dinner is a salute to the people who give so much of themselves to our children and our schools. It is designed to foster a spirit of cooperation and to promote the exchange of ideas between educational leaders and PTA leaders within Central Hudson Region.

One hundred forty-three Central Hudson Region PTA Unit Presidents, Principals, Superintendents and Board Members attended the Annual Presidents Principals Dinner at The Nyack Seaport on October 18th, 2007.

Before the scrumptious dinner we listened to presentations for the PARP Award to Pine Island PTA's "Wild With Reading" Program and the Leadership Award in Honor of Jane Skrzypek given to Diane Tomko of Sanfordville PTA.

Ellen Jaffee, New York Assemblywoman, the keynote speaker for the evening, spoke about advocacy for NCLB and updates to help end the achievement GAP. Her words of encouragement shall be remembered!
